Just who is Hot Toads! Toys?
Hot Toads! Toys is a Canadian owned and operated toy store based out of Oromocto, New Brunswick, which has grown out of a love for the wonder of childhood. Our aim is to provide access to unique, high quality toys for every nook and cranny of Canada. The team at Hot Toads! Toys consists not only of grownups, but also a discerning group of children and toddlers whose input and feedback continues to inspire the selection of products we offer. We listen to our customers too! Your requests and unique orders have helped guide us and focus our toy lineup greatly.
The company was started in February 2006 and is known both locally and across Canada as the toy store with the best toys. Customers repeatedly comment on our great selection, competitive pricing, and personal customer service. The owner, Marc Trembley, was a home dad for over four years raising three children. He saw first-hand the toys that his children and their friends played with, cherished, broke, and were discarded or rarely played with. These observations were channelled into the selection you see here. He knew the value of quality toys, and toys that offered a little more value than just a cardboard box to play with. He prefers not to carry products that are licenced (Dora, Bob, Disney etc.) because typically these toys are of a lesser quality and limit original creative play. Concerns about the environment also directed our selection to manufacturers that cared about the materials they used.
Marc has a strong background in business, technology, retail service, management, and customer service. As a parent he knows the challenges we all face on a daily basis of searching for a quality product that children will appreciate, learn from, and most importantly - have fun with! You can reach him almost anytime - he's always in the store staying in touch with customers and the products they're looking for. He'll even help guide you in purchasing the toys for your child - and if it's not suitable, he'll let you know. If he can't find the toys you're looking for - he'll research where you can find it.
We are constantly adding to our selection of toys, and to help you stay current of new arrivals and what's hot, there is the Hot Toads! BLOG. We also host a group on Facebook for your convenience that we encourage you to share with your friends and family.
