Our wildly popular Anamalz from Hape Toys have been completely re-stocked. Anamalz were awarded the Canadian Toy Testing Council's 3 Star Award for 2008! These make great stocking stuffers for children of all ages.

If you are just starting your Christmas and Holiday Shopping, we strongly urge you to place your orders very soon. There are more toys arriving for regularly stocked items, however we have been extremely busy this year (more than we had anticipated) and stock is being depleted rapidly. Inventory is taken from both our warehouse and our retail store if needed, to fulfill online orders. We are diligent in making certain our inventory is accurate, however there has been the odd occasion where inventory is lower or simply sold out and this is not reflected on the website. Orders are issued an order number and are time-stamped - orders placed first will be given priority.
Please note, we are unable to offer any Special Orders for out of stock or not regularly stocked items at this time of the year - there are less than 40 days before Christmas! Delays are a reality this time of year from suppliers because of demand and logistics beyond our control. We are more than happy to help you find a solution for you - just ask us - we're here to help!

Baby Stella Beige has just arrived to our store along with the Baby Stella Time to Eat Feeding Set. Baby Stella has been awarded the Canadian Toy Testing Council's 3 Star Award for 2008!

It's been a busy week so far, and it's only Tuesday! There's a lot to talk about and keep you up-to-date with!
On November 4, the Canadian Toy Testing Council released their official toy report for 2007 and 2008. The report this year was VERY exciting! Our friends at The Orb Factory won two 3 star awards for Sticky Mosaics My Jungle Adventure and Sticky Mosaics Jewels. Marshmallow Fun Co. won 3 stars for their Marshmallow Shooters. Pywacket Games won 3 stars for Keesdrow, Djeco had several 3 awards for Creanimaux Wooden Blocks, Crearoule Wooden Pull Train, Sardines Memory Card Game, and Geoforme! HaPe Toys found a good winner with Anamalz - each of these imaginative play toys won the 3 star award! BRIO Trains also received the coveted 3 star for Darling My First Train Set. We know there's more - but we're running out of space and we'll tell you about the rest shortly.
We have some New Arrivals! - Bow N Mallow Marshmallow Shooters are in, My Little Sandbox is also in the store - these are mini sandboxes you can use year round and are great for kids or adults, we also have new puzzles (much anticipation) from The Orb Factory, and there's more new toys arriving every single day!
We've renamed the "Clearance Sale!" to the new "Sales and Deals!" It sounds much better, don't you think?
And last but not least - more news on LEGO Star Wars - it has been loaded on a truck and is on the way to Canada. When it's confirmed shipped to us we'll let you know exactly which LEGO sets are coming - eventually all of the Star Wars sets will be here, but we're afraid some may not be here in time for the Holidays. We'll keep you posted.

We've added something to the website that was definitely missing. The Hot Toads! About Us story and the background of how the company was founded. It needs to be tweaked, pictures added, and more of the story of Hot Toads! explained, but it's there, and it's there to stay.

We woke up this morning, looked out the window, and there it was... SNOW! The kids were so excited to see snow on the ground. The adults were not so excited to see snow on the ground. Oh to be kids again...

Price drop! All Beleduc Puppets have dropped in price from $7.49 to $6.99!!! This week we have some new arrivals of Beleduc puppets - we've expanded the selection again! We'll update as soon as we have them in the store.

It took a while, but we now have all of the descriptions for the Comfy Easy PC Keyboard and Software listed. If you're looking for an educational tool for your child aged 1-5 that involves lots of fun, then the Comfy Easy PC System is for you. We highly recommend it.

We have completed some tweaks to the Shopping Cart. During the check out process, you now have the option of selecting Recycled Packaging for shipping your toys in - did you know we have a recycling program? Also, the stock number now appears on your order confirmation email, as does the order number. There are more tweaks happening behind the scenes to streamline the Shopping Cart a bit more as well. If you have any suggestions that you would like to see to improve our website, please let us know - we listen!

Hot Toads! Bloco Toys have arrived, another HUGE order of BRIO toys have arrived - website will be updated shortly with the new toys, Cranium Games are in, re-stock on Marshmallow Shooters are in... and we just received word this afternoon - Baby Stella Peach will be back in stock soon - this seems to be the 'hot toy' for 2007, and guess what else is coming next week - more new sets from LEGO!
The Shopping Cart is being updated tomorrow - the programmers have been putting in overtime on this during the last two weeks - so check-out should be a littler easier.
